EY Cyprus and the Cyprus University of Technology have signed a protocol of cooperation, on Monday, July 6, in Limassol, in order to provide and exchange know-how in matters of common interest. The protocol was co-signed by Charalambos Constantinou, Partner and Head of Consulting of EY Cyprus and Professor Panagiotis Zafeiris, Rector of the Cyprus University of Technology.
The agreement covers a wide range of activities, including joint cultural, scientific, educational events and activities, consulting/ scientific services, joint participation in research and development programs, support with undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations and courses. It also provides for work placements (internships) with EY for students, granting of scholarships in the form of tuition fees to postgraduate students and/or cash prizes to students from the Department of Commerce, Finance and Shipping.
Commenting on the signing of the collaboration protocol, Charalambos Constantinou, Partner and Head of Consulting of EY Cyprus, said: “We are excited and looking forward to a fruitful collaboration with the Cyprus University of Technology. The signing of this protocol is in line with our vision to create a better working world and to contribute back to society. Together with our friends from the Cyprus University of Technology, we aim, among other things, to participate in joint research and development programs that will have a social impact, as well as in common cultural, scientific, educational events and activities. We are also looking forward to see the University’s students in our internship programs.”
