The Cyprus Productivity Centre (CPC) of the Ministry of Labour has announced that in the context of e-government promotion, it is offering a digital skills training workshop on Windows for people aged 55 and over.
According to the announcement, the 27-hour programme will cover introduction to computer use, the internet and its applications (Web Browsing, e-mail, Social Media) and useful e-government services, such as, access to Gesy, payment system for Social Security contributions, Taxisnet and completion of tax returns, Ariadne Internet Portal, e-Banking, account payments via JCC Smart (telephones, taxes, water supply, road tax renewal), and the programmes MS Word and MS Excel. The training will include information on data security, practical exercises and the opportunity to resolve any questions.

Nicosia
Where: Productivity Centre, 77 Kallipoleos Avenue
When: June 1 – July 27, 4:30 pm – 7:45 pm
Duration: 27 total hours
Paphos:
Where: 16 Boumboulinas Street
When: June 21 – July 19, 10 am – 1:15 pm
Duration: 27 total hours
The programmes are funded by the European Union under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan and are offered free of charge.
