Statistical Service figures show the total value of these permits increased by 21.0% and the total area by 17.9% the Statistical Service said, adding that the number of dwelling units recorded an increase of 21.8%.
The Statistical Service announced that the number of building permits authorized by the municipal authorities and the district administration offices in May stood at 434.
The total value of these permits reached €123,4 million and the total area 90.8 thousand square metres. These building permits provide for the construction of 276 dwelling units, the Cyprus News Agency reported.
