Cyprus trade deficit records a decrease in 2014

Cyprus trade deficit decreased by €15.46 million in January 2014, falling at €275.57 million from €291.03 million in January 2013.

According to the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus, on the basis of preliminary estimates for Foreign Trade of Cyprus in January 2014, total imports/arrivals were €382.2 million, of which €265.6 million were arrivals from other Member States of E.U. and €116.6 million imports from Third Countries. Total exports/dispatches were €106.6 million of which €60.4 million were dispatches to other Member States of E.U. and €46.2 million exports to Third Countries.
