Cyprus shipping remains strong, despite the shock caused to the country’s economy by the financial crisis, says Communications and Works Minister.
The minister Tasos Mitsopoulos calls on Cypriot and Greek shipowners to band together in spite of the island's economic woes and to continue supporting the Cypriot register. He added that the country’s shipping industry is a promising part of the Cyprus economy.
