Revenue from tourism marked a rise of 4.4% in 2015, according to Cyprus Statistical Service figures released recently.
“For the period of January to December 2015 revenue from tourism is estimated at €2.11 billion compared to €2.02 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2014. This marks an increase of 4,4%,” the Statistical Service said in a statement.
And based on data of a Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism reached €52,6 million in December 2015 compared to €43,7 million the corresponding month of the previous year. This means a rise of 20,4%,it added.
