Among member states, the largest importer of honey from outside the EU in 2021 was Germany, having imported 51,900 tonnes (30% of the EU total).

It was followed by Poland (32,200 tonnes or 19%), Belgium (25,600 tonnes or 15%), Spain (14,500 tonnes or 8%) and Portugal (7,100 tonnes or 4%).
