The conference, which is the first of its kind in Cyprus, will bring together experts from across Europe, the US and other countries.
The event will be organised into two parts – the scientific part, which will see recent developments and supportive technologies relevant to challenges faced by small and medium-sized Mediterranean cities and communities presented. And the exhibition part, where industry and SMEs will have the opportunity to present products that can solve current and forthcoming problems of these communities.
The conference aims to bring a cooperation between academia, industry and local authorities, in an effort to present recent scientific developments and technological innovations, products and services to city representatives to help them achieve their smart and blue growth objectives.
Participants will have the time to network to create partnerships and find out about potential funding for expansion in the fields of telecommunications, transport, and tourism, among others.
