The Cabinet approved recently a Ministry of Health proposal for a Memorandum of Understanding between the ministry and the World Health Organisation (WHO) on the implementation of a cooperation strategy.
The cooperation strategy constitutes a medium term strategic cooperation framework between the ministry and WHO, which will enhance national policy on public health as well as the planning, management and review of national programmes, action plans and strategies, an official press release says.
