Cyprus and Iran agreed to conclude a series of Memoranda of Understanding regarding the protection of the environment and agriculture, during a two day visit the Minister of Agriculture Nicos Kouyialis is paying to Tehran, ashead of a business delegation from Cyprus.
According to an official announcement, Kouyialis addressed a business forum in the Iranian capital, together with Mohammad Hosseini, the Minister of International Affairs of Iran.
While in Tehran, Kouyialis also met with Masoumeh Ebtekar, Vice President of Iran and head of Environmental Protection Organization and talked about climate change, research and innovation and maritime protection. Ebtekar received an invitation by the Cypriot Minister to visit the island.
Furthermore, Kouyialis also met with his counterpart Mahmoud Hojjati.
