Individual per capita consumption in Cyprus in 2013 reached 92% of the European Union average, figures released recently by Eurostat show.
Actual Individual Consumption consists of goods and services actually consumed by individuals, irrespective of whether these goods and services are purchased and paid for by households, by government, or by non-profit organisations.
Only seven EU member-states exceeded the EU average. Luxemburg with 138% of the EU average, Germany with 125% and Austria with 119% were the top three.
