Cabinet extends job support scheme

The cabinet on Monday decided to extend employment support measures to businesses to help the tackle the fallout of the coronavirus pandemic.

Government spokesman Marios Pelekanos said the applications for eligible individuals will be posted on Tuesday on the labour ministry website.

The cabinet also decided to extend current measures designed to stop the spread of the coronavirus until September 3.
