The full-day event, organised by Business Direction UK, presented the investment opportunities available in Cyprus, its attractive tax, legal and business environment and its advantages for investors, particularly those seeking alternatives to the United Kingdom following Brexit.
Elias presented the main features of the Cyprus legal system to the audience of investors and professional advisers. With many features of the legal system being based on English common law, particularly in the field of corporate and contract law, it provides a familiar and flexible legal environment for investors which fully conforms with EU law.
The event was very successful and was attended by many UK based entrepreneurs who wished to know more about Cyprus especially in relation to the post Brexit era.
