With its main concern being the security of its people, but also the unimpeded provision of Services to its clients, PwC Cyprus has implemented a comprehensive Business Continuity Management System to ensure effective, efficient and timely management of incidents that could affect or even interrupt the smooth operation of businesses.
During the Annual Quality Event 2019, organised by the Cyprus Organisation for Standardisation and the Cyprus Certification Company on 26 June 2019, PwC Cyprus received certification for its Business Continuity Management System by the Minister of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance, Mrs Zeta Emilianidou.
In a statement, PwC Cyprus CEO Evgenios Evgeniou said that this certification marks the beginning of a new era, as this is the first certified implementation of a management system that was developed in line with the requirements of an international standard, and which has been fully incorporated within the Organisation’s operating methods. “With the development, implementation and certification of the registered Business Continuity Management System, PwC Cyprus ensures that there is a proper framework in place to ensure that any incident can be dealt with immediately and effectively, minimising any potential impact,” he said.
