Booster shots for 18 and over begins Wednesday

The vaccination portal will now be available from the 8th of December for people aged 18 and over to book booster shot appointments. According to the Ministry of Health, only those who have completed their first and second doses of Pfizer/BioNtech, Moderna and Astra Zeneca will be allowed to get their booster shots so long as six months have passed since their last shot.

The same rules will also apply to those who received the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, specifically that 6 months had to have elapsed before a booster shot could be administered.

Those wishing to book an appointment may do so on the portal, otherwise, walk-in centers will be open from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and on Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm.  Note that those who previously received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine can only avail of the booster shot through the walk-in centers.  No appointment can be made on the portal.
