“As of the date of the commencement of the trading the total number of issued ordinary shares listed on the CSE and the ATHEX will be 8,922,377,345, including 17,951,405 ordinary shares which are currently listed but suspended from trading, with a nominal value of €0.10 each,” the Bank of Cyprus said in an emailed statement today.
“The international securities identification number will be common for all the shares and will be CY0104810110. The security code for the CSE and the ATHEX is ΤΡΚΥ/ BOCY and ΚΥΠΡ/BOC respectively”.
A total of 3,873,269,066 ordinary shares are held by bailed-in depositors, who saw almost half of their unsecured deposits converted into equity as part of Cyprus’s March 2013, bailout terms, Bank of Cyprus said.
Another 4,166,666,667 shares are owned by the bank’s new shareholders following the August 2014 capital increase, while holders of subordinate securities and the Cyprus Popular Bank legacy own a total of 5,781,443 and 858,708,764 shares respectively, the lender said.
