Aegean to operate daily Larnaca-Tel Aviv flights

Aegean Airlines said recently it was starting daily flights from Larnaca to Tel Aviv from the end of March 2015 and was resuming flights to Kiev in Ukraine at the same time.

The flights will be operated using the Airbus A320. It is the first time the company will be connecting Larnaca to Tel Aviv. The flights will run seven days a week.

For Kiev, respectively, Aegean said it was resuming the flights from Larnaca that were suspended last year due to the crisis in Ukraine.

Flights to Kiev will run three times a week.

The CEO of AEGEAN Demetris Gerogiannis said: “The strategy of our growth from Cyprus continues, investing in quality relationship we have established with the Cypriot market. The launch of direct flights from Larnaca to Tel Aviv represents an important step in the implementation of the strategic plan of our company. These new flights will support business growth and the increase in tourism to Cyprus.”
