Low cost carrier Blue Air has announced the launch of more flights from Cyprus to Athens.

The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund want to provide Cyprus with technical assistance, with a view to secure sustainable public finances in a unified economy following a settlement, Undersecretary to the President Constantinos Petrides told the press recently.

The IMF says Cyprus is expected to generate a fiscal deficit of 1.3% of economic output in 2015, after posting a 0.2% deficit in 2014 and before generating a fiscal surplus of 0.1% next year.

The opportunities and incentives that Cyprus offers potential investors were presented by a delegation of Cypriot officials, headed by Energy Minister Giorgos Lakkotrypis during a ‘Cyprus-UK Business Forum’ recently.
