The Cypriot economy in 2021 recovered the output lost during the 2020 COVID crisis and will continue to grow with an average 3.7% in the years 2022 – 2024, the Central Bank of Cyprus expects, according to its economic bulletin, stressing that risks to the baseline scenario are balanced albeit slightly upside concerning inflation.

New measures to deal with the spread of the coronavirus were announced today by the Minister of Health, Michalis Hadjipandela.

The Health Ministry has announced new regulations for passengers arriving in Cyprus, effective the 4th of January.  According to the announcement, all passengers regardless of their vaccination course, are asked to present a negative PCR 48 hrs prior to their departure.
